For each prescription filled, Pharmacy Benefit Auditors will reconcile the discounts received by the client 30-day supply retail prescriptions, 90-day supply retail prescriptions, mail order prescriptions and specialty drugs as compared to the discount guarantees. The AWP (sourced from Medispan) will be checked against the specified product given the dosage, the quantity, and the date of service. Prescriptions will be broken out by brand and generics based on the categories identified in the claims file.
